This is a very practical cooking magazine for the every-day chef. The recipes are easy to understand, and more importantly, are easy to prepare! Unlike many of the cooking magazines out there, the meal ideas are composed of ingredients that can actually be found in your local grocery store. I used to just buy Cooking Light at my convenience, either when I passed a newsstand or noticed it on the shelf while waiting on a check-out line. I started to refer to this magazine so many times per month for delicious dishes, that I decided I really needed a reliable subscription to it. Cooking Light is offered on this site for a really reasonable price, and it will be well-worth your money! I definitely give this magazine a five-star rating!

This is the only cooking magazine I subscribe to and I just love it. I'm not the best chef, but whenever I cook the recipes that Cooking Light suggests my dishes look like they have appeared straight from the pages of Bon Appetit. On top of providing me with all sorts of recipes to suit my (and my friends) tastes, they are easy, do-able, and the directions are always very clear. Most importantly, they are healthy and calorie-conscious! I couldn't have asked for more in a cooking magazine.

I love this magazine because it not only focuses eating healthier but also having a healthier lifestyle. The recipes range from quick and easy to more elaborate, and come with nutritional tables. The content of the articles addresses travel, exercise, beauty and decorating ideas to give an overview of healthy lifestyles. Some people take issue with the fact that this magazine does not only relate to food, but I think the articles on lifestyle issues make this a more well-rounded magazine. The layout and photography is fantastic, the ingredients are easily attainable, and the health tips (like what foods give you what vitamins)are invaluable. If you want to improve your overall health this magazine is a great first step!
