Love the magazine look forward to it arriving every week.Just one small request love the food and drink section only every restaurant you review is always some major city like N.Y or L.A give us something in Cleveland or Pittsburgh. Thanks!
I just finished reading the article in vol 18 issue 855 January 12, 2018 about Republicans: Is their 'devil's bargain' paying off? SUCH insight and really a balanced fair but honest assessment of President's first year. I also love the crosswords although they seem to be getting easier.
I find The Week an incredible source of serious and silly news, which is invaluable to me in preparation for my weekly live radio show with www.citytalk.co.uk to talk to Pete Price every Wednesday night in Liverpool (my home town) at 11 p.m. I have been doing this for almost ten years. When I recently visited the City, every time I stepped into a taxi, the drivers immediately recognized my voice and in most cases, would not take payment from me for the ride. So thank you, The Week, for being my constant source of news from all corners of the globe, and helping me to sound such a clever clogs when I speak to my native land, England.
All these reviews are on the mark. When I get The Week in my mailbox, I stand there and read an article before I head back to the house; absolutely love it and when I received my first copy, I was amazed that covering everything included recipes, houses for sale and puzzles. Perfect! A purely joyful read.
Readers get a wonderful sample of major points made on any topic by major sources (journalists, analysts, various experts, politicians) which ultimately yeilds objectivity, lack of biased coverage, if you read them all. A+ on that one! Another great feature is world and USA maps included in each issue with arrows pointing to the spots where news events occurred. In addition to news events and commentaries there are book reviews, best TV shows and movies of the week, best in drama and art and music and the like. All is concise and easily read and yes, you can be done in an hour many times.
