I just bought the 2010 April, edition of Alaska. The first new one since 1990. Dug up all my old issues from 1950 to 1990 and want to find a buyer who would like to have them. I was on Adak and Anchorage when we finished WWII. Make me ab offer? Thanks again for the memories. As a cryptographer on Adak, I rfeceived the surrender msg from Emperor Hirohito. Encoded it and sent to Pres. Truman. Alaska is full of good memories for me. Thanks!

As a teenager I went on a tour-guided trip with other kids my age, that started in Alaska and we worked our way down to Hawaii. On my once-in-a-lifetime trip ten years ago, I fell in love with Alaska. I am now approaching my 8th trip back, and Alaska magazine keeps me up-to-date on the endless possibilities for my arrival. This magazine truly lets you know what it would be like to live in Alaska - it allows out-of-staters to feel like residents.

This is definitely a unique magazine and a subscription that I can't do without. The articles cover all areas you could possibly imagine- from local politics and history of the state to more simple, heart-warming human interest stories. Besides being impeccably written, the photography in Alaska magazine is absolutely breathtaking. The photos are always so magnificently captured and I applaud all who is involved in this element of the magazine. Thank you to the mag's editors for allowing us Alaskans to embrace our state, and serving as a reminder for everyone in this world to appreciate and preserve the beauty that nature has to offer.

I am so in love with this beautiful state. I subscribe to this great magazine for the pictures and excellent journaled stories. I long to visit this place. With every issue, I fall deeper enthused. Keep up the great work editors. Alaska magazine is one of a kind.

In my opinion Alaska Magazine is the best magazine printed. I regularly send gift subscriptions to my family in the "lower 48" so that they will not be totally deprived of the beauty and magisty that is Alaska.
