I have subscribed to a number of automobile magazines over the years, but I always find myself referring back to Car and Driver. This has made a clear statement over time - C&D is simply superior to the others. It's just a good overall, well-rounded magazine for car enthusiasts. The format is extremely reader-friendly, with detailed photographs of cars of all shapes and sizes. The road tests and comparison tests are are very good, and the reviews always provide data tables overflowing with researched stats and information. There are no surprises or curve balls in Car and Driver - just a solid car magazine.

Car and Driver is a top-notch car magazine that is good for all-around automotive interest. The most valuable feature about this publication is that it is not influenced in a way by advertisers and whatnot to make the reviews biased, like a lot of car review magazines. The road tests and other reviews are written by engineers, journalists, and former insiders of the car industry- so the info. you get is direct, to the point, and based on a field of knowledge to give you the most accurate portrayal of performance. The photos are awesome, as they stand on their own to provide you with the most vivid aesthetic portrayal. Car and Driver is also a great resource for basic information on things like championship car event. Plus, a lot of the writers present their articles with a sense of humor, which makes this magazine a rarity and very entertaining. This is one of the best magazines of its kind at a reasonable price.
