Responsibilities:
- Architecting, developing and implementing enhancements to e-Commerce and non-e-Commerce
web sites and supporting client applications
- Performance tuning and optimizing the web site applications and databases to ensure
maximum availability, performance, and effectiveness
- Interfacing with business customers to gather and document business and system requirements
- Creating analysis and design documents
- Documenting, testing, and executing software test plans (unit and integration testing)
- Supporting quality assurance testing and production installations
- Managing a list of enhancement projects and ensuring leadership is fully apprised
of status
- Providing accurate and timely estimates (work breakdown schedules)
- Leading small to medium sized enhancement projects and web site releases
- Formulating and driving development standards and recommendations to ensure site
performance
- Providing 3rd-level help desk support and debugging and resolving application issues
Must Have Skills:
- BS in Computer Science or related
- Minimum 3 years programming with .NET framework, ASP.NET, Web Services, SOAP, and
XML
- Minimum 3 years programming in ASP, SQL, Visual Basic and/or C++, MS SQL Server
and COM
- Minimum 3 years experience with Web and UI development using HTML, DHTML, JavaScript
- Experience with Microsoft development tools
Plus Skills:
- MS/MBA in Computer-related field
- Knowledge of Cold Fusion, PHP, or other server-side web-scripting languages
- Knowledge of Flash, ActionScript, VBScript, and CSS
- Experience with versioning tools (Visual SourceSafe, Subversion, CVS)
