Wow! I must congratulate your fine magazine on the Jack Smith article in the February 2008 issue. What a great piece of Mopar history. Much research and thought went into this article. Personally, I really appreciated the detail of all the dates and names of the key "players". That fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants approach to building and marketing cars is long gone. I had the pleasure of meeting Jack Smith a couple of years ago at a local Mopar show here in Michigan, and I'd like to ad one piece of information to this fine article. Jack told a group of us that day that Chrysler secured the rights from WB's for the use of the bird for the nominal sum of $10,000. Keep up the good work! Mark Williamson, Clarkston, MI
